After opening Embarcadero XE6 and reopening a C++ project file from a zipped RadStudio 2010 folder, pressing the small green compile and run arrow results in an error, "can't find Project1.exe."
After looking at the folder in question, there is a double-dot before the file extension in the two files, "Project1..exe" and "Project1..tds". Once we replace the double-dots with single-dots we're OK. How did that happen and how do we correct it?
With thanks...
Nick

Hello Nicholas,

The best way to proceed is to create a brand new project in XE6 and add your source code files to it. There are some issues in the migration of projects from old versions.

What about the files other than the Unit1.* files?
Particularly the files that manage the Visual Components.
In my other post I find that I cannot modify anything on the Design tab of VCs.
(Given what we're paying for XE6, can't Embarcadero circulate some patches?)

Find <OutputExt>.exe</OutputExt> in .cbproj file. Remove dot from it.
