Hello,

After uninstalling RAD Studio XE6 (with the C++ Builder personality), I have installed the XE6 Update 1 and I can't get Help to work any more. I have tried uninstalling, reinstalling and repairing with and without the virus checker program running, with no luck. I have completely uninstalled RAD Studio and then deleted all the installation files and started again. Still no luck.

Symptoms are:
If I hover my mouse over a variable, sometimes RAD Studio crashes. Other times, if I press F1 whilst some component is selected in the form designer, I get the message:
"Cannot find the file %s".

I then had a look in the "C:\Program Files (x86)\Embarcadero\Studio\14.0\Help\Doc\" directory. There was only 1 file: "H2Reg_Log.txt"
I tried just installing the help files but still no luck. I am guessing that I have to somehow install the help files into this directory.

Any suggestions as to how?

Apologies if the answer is obvious...

Hi Alex

Thanks. Help has been restored... however, RAD Studio is still crashing sometimes when the mouse hovers over some variable.
